Sesame Street's Cookie Monster gobbles up a cookie during a press conference at Busch Gardens in November 2003. Cookie Monster is one of the older characters from Jim Henson's Sesame Street. He made his debut in 1969 with Kermit the Frog. 'C is for Cookie' is Cookie Monster's most famous song. Cookie is known for eating pretty much anything, but cookies are obviously his favorite. To promote healthy eating for children, since 2006 Cookie Monster has said that cookies are a 'sometime snack' and that he also likes fruits and eggplant.
